My Hope Is in You: Psalms that Comfort and Mend the Soul

Rate this book
Although struggles in life often come with painful emotions, My Hope Is in You invites you to release your feelings to the Lord. In an exploration of ten psalms, you’ll glean from the experiences of the psalmists as they talk to God about their feelings of fear, grief, stress, desperation, and other emotions. Be reminded that God is still with you. He is faithful to His Word. He is the source of comfort, peace, and hope.

Deeply moving. I like Mr. Crowder's mix of his personal life and biblical parallels.

He breaks down 10 Psalms. Each with their own lessons.

I would recommend and gift this to anyone that studies the bible, and/or enjoys reading.

Before Christmas is next.

I found this book to be a gem as it helped me understand and lean into several Psalms. I donate most of my Christian books to my church library after I read them - but this one I am keeping and will likely re-read in the future.

Enjoyed. Lots of good insight. Psalms are always encouraging and comforting to me. It's one of my favorite books of the Bible.
