In my view, this book is the best of all the Bible story adaptations that were done by Etta G. Wilson.
Jesus and the Children lets the words of Jesus speak to kids and tell them that even if the world does not always value them for what they are now, they are still worthwhile. Jesus says that no one will enter his kingdom who does not have the submissiveness of a child's attitude.
I think that the presentation of these truths will grab the attention of young readers, as it did mine. People who are already well familiar with these individual stories will find a good reminder of what is important in life.
