An amazing book beautifully written and illustrated by two amazing people

I purchased this book for my beautiful daughter in law for her first Mother’s Day to read to her baby girl and our first grandchild

All new mums need to be told how amazing they are and this book was received with oooos and ahhhs and a couple of joyful tears

My kids and I loved this book! I think we both loved that it explores lots of different parts of your Mum. The kids secretly (or not so secretly) loved that it talks about mummy getting grumpy and angry and grumbly, as well as other emotions! I love the simple use of language to paint a picture, and the gorgeous, creative illustrations on each page. My 5 year old loves to have it read to her, and my 7 year old loves to read it himself and explore all the hidden treasures in the illustrations. Highly recommended!

I loved this reading this book with my two boys. With my 5 year old it created a lovely opportunity to explore and normalise the different faces / emotions of mummies and people in general. Also as a beginner reader, a fun book to build reading confidence. My 2 year old loved the repetition and the elephants. This book is beautifully illustrated, celebrates and encourages connection and a joy to read (and again and again)!
