The Dreamtime

Every once in a while, the world undergoes a great transformation and fantastic phenomena become the norm of reality. Colors abound. Strange sounds come out of nowhere. Monsters roam around. Magic is possible.

It's the Dreamtime.

Blaze is a boy who has a strong distaste for the Dreamtime because of its dangers and because, while it lasts, every other person disappears, except for him. To make matters worse, Blaze had a falling-out with his best friend and gets harassed by an entity he calls "the Voice." Hopeless and miserable, he spends most of his time secluded in his room, where he feels safer in case the next Dreamtime comes.

Then, one day, a mysterious girl moves into the house next door...

It was very amazing🎆

I would rate the book 4 stars because it was so amazing but the,kid was very depressing but overall it was good

*Dreamtime* by Rafael Pombo. This novel/short story had a beautiful cover and seemed to be attempting an allegorical journey much like the alchemist. Unfortunately it read more like amateur fanfic of someone's rather dull D&D style therapy session.
