Happy Skills For Happy Kids: Ten bright ideas that help kids feel glad! [Kindle Unlimited]— Jed Jurchenko (picture book) July 12, 2019

This picture book doesn’t translate well on a tablet (mine it a iPad mini, so maybe a larger screen would work better?)

However, even on the 7.9” screen, the text and the images are very clear and not fuzzy or blurry. The layout put two pages side on a single tablet page. And the page numbers are all in the left corner, which is a little weird.

However, this is a really good book for teaching young children the importance of self-care. An older, self-reading child could read this, or it would be read to at night before bed.

Three stars.

Great for moody parents too!!

Both my girls along with myself currently have PTSD issues and although we have pressed on forward, nighttime for each girl ( one 13 the other 7 years old) still becomes the battle of them vs scary monsters, dark rooms and active imaginations. These fun and simple exercises are just enough physical exertion to put them happily to slsep! Yay! And bonus is they rest thru the entire night.!!

Cute pictures. I liked how the animal actions tie into actions for the children to relax and feel better. It seems geared towards a very young age (Pre-K/K).

Invaluable "How To" Book

This book teachers children to recognize their emotions and change them. It is impossible to read this book and not feel better! A very fun, very practical book to help us raise happy kids! These ideas work equally well with adults. A must have book for every home!
