The Divide

Rate this book
News of Alan’s death changed everything. A posthumous text from his brother's phone now raised questions as to the circumstances of his demise. Attempting to understand the full story, Denis suddenly finds himself up against a dangerous and clandestine organisation willing to stop at nothing to hide the truth. Torn between concern for his family's safety, and desperate to reveal the truth, Denis is progressively drawn into a fight against a global a malevolent group for whom elimination of a life is the standard response to any threat. His only ally is the beautiful Cynthia who, along with a network of like-minded people, has long worked against the covert organisation that Denis now finds himself up against. She sees his plight as an opportunity to make a breakthrough in her struggle. This action-packed novel takes the reader at break-neck speed from the Antarctic to the Falklands, South Africa and England. Conspiracy theory rapidly evolves into fact, leaving the reader to question for themselves what has always appeared to be “the natural order of things”.

Excellent read, the suspense, action and interesting story line kept me captivated. The International / local setting was a bonus as it was also nice to read about SA cities / familiar places.

This book ticked many boxes for me - interesting plot, well crafted characters and a good mix of action, suspense and tenderness - sprinkled with a touch of humour. Looking forward to reading another book by him.
