Living in East Asia one wonders why Singapore, a small city state, has been able to become so successful while Indonesia, only an hour away lags way behind. Do Confucian ethics play a role? Why do the Chinese, representing only 4 to 7 percent of the population here in Indonesia control the economy? How does Confucianism deal with Human Rights and Global Warming? I have no idea....
