Vatican Knights #15

The Nocturnal Saints

Rate this book
In Washington, D.C., three priests have been murdered and mutilated with their corpses hanging upside-down in mock crucifixion. The only indicator as to the culprit is a 500-year-old order known as the Nocturnal Saints, an underground faction that had been borne from the Protestant Reformation and acts as judge, jury and executioner against those deemed to be in contradiction of old-time traditions. So when Special Agent Shari Cohen of the FBI is called to track down this faceless enemy, she’s joined by the Vatican Knights who have been dispatched by the pontiff to counteract the order. But when the investigation suggests that the pope may be a target, Kimball Hayden suddenly finds himself within the crosshairs, the Nocturnal Saints learn that they must go through the Vatican Knights to achieve their agenda.

Action packed which moves the story along at a fast pace. Kimball story line is still dragging along but my biggest complaint is the repetitive dialogue that is repeating information over again that was presented earlier in the story.

Another great story by Rick Jones and the Vatican Knights and the story is very good, easy to read and has a very good conclusion to the book. Great detail and how the Good beat the Evil and it was a very well written story, I do enjoy these books, and because I did not read them in the proper sequence, I am now going back over the ones that I think I have not read. They are addictive books, once you have read one then you want to read another, and I do like the main character, he has his own fight with Good over Evil but he is a Priest and a Vatican Knight and very skilled in what he does and all the others Vatican Knights that he works with are the same, younger and older and they always get a good result and a few fights to make it an even better read. I shall be sad when there are no more of these to read, I shall have to see what else Rick Jones writes and see if I like them. The author is certainly very good at writing these books. Would recommend to everyone to read as there is no swearing no sex and a good old fashioned good read. A pleasure every time.

Book 15 of the awesome Vatican Knights series is, yet again, another thrilling read.

A centuries old extreme branch of the Catholic Church is seeking retribution on those flouting the religion’s rules and dealing out their own brand of justice in God’s name.

Step forth Kimball Hayden and the Vatican Knights to attempt stop them in their tracks.

Author Rick Jones keeps up his consistently high standard and brings us another adrenaline fuelled adventure, with the superb Kimball Hayden taking centre stage.

I have no idea how Rick Jones has managed to maintain his exceptionally high standard of story / writing, but he has. Again.

Exciting and still fresh, the Vatican Knights are simply the best.

Fast paced. Another great read in the Vatican Knights series. Can't wait for the next one!

This has been a solid series. Every book has been very enjoyable. Rick Jones pulls the characters together as the story builds.

Ridiculous

First in this series that I have read. Will be the last. Not without its moments, but the idea of combat priest soldiers is just silly. Lots of it was very predictable also.
