I worked with Philip as a student at the Appalachian Center of Virginia Tech (Solitude) for several semesters. Philip's poetry has been developing quickly and is both spiritual and transcendental in approach. The Devil John books have been carefully researched over the last several decades and are informative and engaging as well.
