Altering the Past to Preserve the Future…

Pulled forward in time by the Guild of a distant future, Assassin 101 must help them track down a rogue agent if he ever wishes to return home. What he finds is an unimaginable foe, a web of espionage bent on destruction, and a family secret that threatens the Assassin’s future.

Sebastian Caine, Apprentice Assassin, has fooled the Guild into complacency. Sentenced to death for his crimes, he follows the path of Rick Brewer and escapes into the past to find the only woman that can calm his savage heart. To be with her, he must drastically change the time-line.

Rick Brewer has been a guinea pig for Guild scientists since his capture. His reprieve comes when he and Assassin 97 are sent to capture Caine. As they move through Europe’s Renaissance, Rick’s growing affection toward his partner is put to the test when she is captured and tortured by Caine.

To rescue Assassin 97, Rick must enlist Assassin 101’s assistance. Will Assassin 101 let history stand? Or does he risk everything, in violation of Guild law, to fulfil the prophesy of the family secret?

With a face for radio and a voice for silent movies, writing was his only recourse.

Award Winning Author R. Kyle Hannah is a self-professed geek and lover of all things sci-fi. He began writing in high school as an outlet for an overactive imagination. Those humble beginnings, combined with real life experiences from a 29-year career in the Army, have spawned a half-dozen full-length adventures and a handful of short stories.

“Reminiscent of Arthur C. Clark” is how Writer’s Digest describes his first novel, To Aid and Protect.

His TIME ASSASSINS Trilogy (Time Assassins, Assassin’s Gambit, & Assassin’s End) has met great praise from authors and readers alike. The series is a time travel adventure that chronicles futuristic assassins who travel back in time and rewrite alternate timelines into our history. The trilogy features a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award Winner and an amazon Best Seller.

His next two-book series (The Tri-System Authority - The Jake Cutter Conspiracy, and The Tri-System Authority - The Reign of Terra) is slated for release in 2018.

Kyle has several other projects in the works, including Harvest Day, Atlantis Falling, and a screenplay adaptation of his first novel, To Aid and Protect.

Riveting read! Again I am up reading into the wee hours unable to put the book down. This book is a really great extension to the first book. There's LOTS of action and there's history (for those that are into that) but it is definitely not as intricate and in depth as was the case in Time Assassins.

A worthy follow-up to Time Assassins. Time travels to the past and the future? What could go wrong? Well...lots...and R. Kyle Hannah does a great job of weaving together what appears to be two different story lines into a very satisfying conclusion that shows how intertwined both the past and the future really are.

Wheeee! Time travel is always fun and this doubled down on the adventure and alternate history of it's predecessor. The characters are more fully realized and the action scenes are just as fun. There are a few technical bobbles keeping it from being five stars, but still great! Highly recommended fun adventure story!
