I have the biggest weak spot for broody single dad gets with the sweet & sassy nanny. And the blurb had me sold but did not deliver on the goods.
For me, this is a DNF based on the actual storytelling style mixed with the character development. I find it all lacking any true development/explanation and the progression to be a bit nonsensical.
I think this was a serial now published as a full-length and that probably explains it.

How I love Terri’s books! This one is great and not to be missed! It has the most loving group of people. Honey was a blast to read! She is full of spunk, understanding, compassion and love. From her first encounter with Jake I just couldn't get enough. Their chemistry is so hot! Not only did I love these two, but Jake's dad and daughter added so much to this sweet read. Jake’s a single dad who loves his family with everything he has. His life is complicated and he has hired Honey to help. Now as Honey and Jake “Sugar” have started a relationship, life throws them a few curveballs. Can their love win? The twists and turns - some good, some bad not one did I see coming. You will love all the characters in this book! I laughed, cried, stomped my feet a little but loved every single word. I’m hoping Terri decides to do a couple of spin-offs for a few of the characters that I grew to love and want more of!!!

I jumped into this story blind without any inkling what it’s about and although I rarely read novellas, I absolutely loved this book (it combines Honey & Sugar).
I was hooked from the start, captured throughout and head over heels in love!
As it is common in short reads, the story was rather predictable and moved fast ahead but it never felt inept. It actually had a great pace and I enjoyed how Honey slowly became a part of Jake’s world despite their work relationship.
Although the main story obviously was about Jake and Honey, there was much more going on with his dad, daughter, and the ranch. I was completely engrossed in this book.
There was a lot of potential for this book to be more of a full-length novel. Such a pity that it wasn’t, but I loved it nonetheless.
Ps.: I really wish there was a Book coming about Axel. =P

These two still had a connection after all these years. And then add in an adorable father, a daughter who stole the book, and an awful ex (and another great one), and you've got a hit!
While I very much loved this story, I felt like it was missing something. Sweet and beautiful love story
What a sweet love story. Honey and Jake's journey was so much fun to experience. The way Honey takes care of people is such a joy to read! A book full of love, joy, sadness, passion, misunderstandings, and ultimately promise and happiness, this book will grab you and won't let go.

This was a quick easy read. I enjoyed the story overall, and liked the ranch setting. Jake's hot and cold attitude bothered me, I thought Honey took too much crap from him in the beginning. Jamie was adorable, and I loved how much Jake loved her. This was my first book by this author, but I will absolutely read more in the future.

Enjoyed this book; it wasn’t just the love story, though he did fall pretty fast. There was extra drama with the ex GF and the obnoxious neighbor who wanted Jake. Honey just wanted a family to belong with and love. She found it with Jake and his family. Enjoyable read! Would love a story about Axel in the future!

Bella historia, con una protagonista fuerte e independiente que se pone en el lugar de otros y busca el bien para los otros, hasta antes del suyo. Y un protagonista masculino decidido, con un gran coraxon y amor por su familia. La historia se desarrolla con lógica y con muchos momentos tiernos, con intervención de los secundarios que aportan a la historia y dedarrollo de los personajes.

I love this author but this was not one of my favorite books. It wasn’t bad just ok. I will definitely continue to read any books this author writes.
