When Love Calls Your Name

Rate this book
Alaina was living her life just barely making it. Stuck at a job her ex helped her get, she was forced to work with him and his new wife. Unable to hold in her anger any longer, she reacted before thinking and it cost her to lose it all. With life taking a turn for the worse, Alaina was ready to give it all up, including her life. Hearing her name being called by the last person she expected, stopped her from making the worst decision ever.

After meeting Isaiah, you would think he had it all together. Having his own problems to deal with, he met Alaina and realized maybe his problems weren’t as bad as they seemed. He quickly tossed his worries to the side to show Alaina that life is worth living. After spending time together, Isaiah found out that it wasn’t only him saving her but she was saving him too.

Some say it’s better to have loved and lost than to never loved at all. Alaina answered when love called her name but will it be all worth it in the end?

Love this novella, I just wasn’t expecting the out come for Isaiah. I just knew the author was going to write a different ending 🤣. I glad Aliana was able to experience what true love was after awhile of being single even if it was for a short amount of time.

This book was very emotional. Isiah made the most of his time with Alaina. They were both dealing with something, but they helped each other through the pain. Too bad Morgan, your wicked and selfish ways made you miss out.
West and Celeste got an unexpected visit from karma before Alaina could tell them where to go.
This was the making of a five star book, but the editing ruined it.

AMAZING!!

This was probably one of the most beautiful stories I’ve read period! You never know what someone is going through but when God places that one person in your life that you’re equally yoked to then nothing else matters! Aliana was just making it the best she knew how for her and her daughter….. her ex was a tired ass human being smh. Isiah was just a angel on earth and his spirit was EVERYTHING ❤️ I loved how he was there for her despite everything he was dealing with and I was hoping that it didn’t end the way I predicted it to but the love they had for each other made it more beautiful! Some of us search for the love that we read about and others actually get to live it, and the ones that do have this in real life I hope you cherish it because some of us wish we had it! This was a GREAT read, well done!!!

Very emotional read!!

This book was soooo emotional for me. When I first found out what was wrong with Isaiah, I almost stopped reading because that is what my mother-in-law passed away from, but I decided to continue reading. I’m glad I did. The book was well written and the disease was handled accurately. I shed several tears reading this book. Alaina went through many trials and tribulations, but God places blessings in your life that you don’t even see. She didn’t realize exactly what a blessing she was to Isaiah and what a blessing he would be to her. This book truly shows what having just a little bit of faith can do because God always shows up on time. Thank you for writing this book, and I would definitely recommend everybody to read it.

What a beautiful story.

When you read a book that’s so good and well put together but it makes you cry ( the ugly cry). You have no other choice but to give it five stars. Even tho this is a story it makes you believe in love at first sight. It also makes you value the meaning of everyone is put in your life for a reason even if it’s just for a moment. A. J Davidson I really loved this book and you did an amazing job .

This was my first read from Aj and it won’t be my last. This was a very heartwarming novella. My heart went out to Isaiah and he was so giving and caring in the short time him and Alaina met. West wasn’t sh*t and although his punishment was harsh he deserved it. I’m glad i took a chance on this book. Alaina got everything her and her daughter deserved and then some. I’m sooo happy for them. This won’t be my last book from this author.

Love

First book by this author and she did a good job. I loved how the author kept up with the timeline and didn’t move too fast with the story even though it was a short story. Alaina and Isaiah love was real and even though how fast their feelings evolved it wasn’t forced. The only bad thing I can say about this book was the little annoying errors that was throughout the book but I recommend this book

Beautiful Storyline.

Wow, I really enjoyed reading this book. It was such a beautiful love story. I was so happy for the time that Alaina and Isaiah got to spend with each other and were able to help each through their difficult times. West and Celeste were devils and karma kicked their behinds. I wish that they would have stayed alive long enough to see the come up that Alaina received. Great job AJ Davidson ❤️

Wow this book was so emotional. I swear its was like watching a movie. I grabbed some tissues on many parts. Alaina went thorough a whole lot and I'm happy she got through it. Oh and I so happy that she was left with a gift. Isaiah situation just broke my heart. I don't know why it hit me so hard. I really cried. I felt so bad. I have read so many books and this book right here was on point!. This is a must a read. Get ready to laugh, cry, and get mad. Awesome!!

sheesh AJ. yu got my allergies acting up and stuff lol. just when Alaina gave up on love here comes Isaiah showing her exactly how she’s supposed to be treated. their love story was nothing short of amazing. just in that short amount of time yu can tell that the love was there. i’m so mad that Morgan came to the reading of the will like she was about to get something. i’m happy that Alaina has a piece of Isaiah with her.

😭

This was a really really great story. So different from what I have been reading. I’m literally in tears right now I felt the pain of losing Isiah through the words. I haven’t cried from a story since “Friends and lover” by Eric Jerome Dickey. The only thing I will say is I wish West and Celeste lived. Death was too easy I wanted them to watch her glow up, and I wish it was longer. Even with that I can’t take away from this story.

So emotional...

This book really hit home..I have had a few family members pass away due to cancer most notable is my mother. Alaina and Isaiah may have known each for a short while but they definitely were meant to be in each other's life. This book teaches you that you never know what someone else is going through and that you need to be there for the people you love no matter what...time waits for noone very emotional but raw tale. Must read!! Bravo!!!!

Love called and she begrudgingly answered. It turned out to be the best decision of her life. Having suffered pain throughout her life. the heroine got to experience love for 2 weeks that would change her life.
The story was short, sweet and moved quickly. There was of course no time to expand on certain storylines or topics brought up, but it was still a good read. I have to say I got a little emotional toward the end. I would recommend this book.

Now you did not have to end this book like this. Wow just wow. West and Celeste got just what they deserved. Alani and Isaiah was a storybook romance the time they spent together was priceless. I hate that he passed away but i loved the fact that he made sure Alani would have what she needed even if he was not here

Very emotional

This was a very emotional read. It touched on a very heartfelt subject. Alana went through a lot and had me in tears. I cried tears of joy for her and Isaiah and how they helped each other through the rough times. It broke my heart that he didn't get more time with her, but at least she has a part of him now. #sbp

Where’s the tissues?

This story was very emotional and very real. There is no amount of time on love. You never know what someone else is going through and the difference you can make in someone’s life just by being there for them. These two were there for each other in more ways than one.

Love

This was a great read. What I like about is love came along when it was need for both characters. Cried when he died. But rejoice when let her know that he loved and would take care her. This story comes to the saying you never what someone is going through. Or sometimes our problem is as bad until hear someone else. !I've it

Great Story

I was told this would be a one and done and I promise I welcomed the interruption during this read. It was as if God knew I needed to be broken away, when I did. So glad that gold digging duntdadunt didn't get a red cent. There were minor grammatical errors but it didn't take away from the read. Great job.

Another good read by this author

I loved reading this book, but hated thf Isaiah died but he kept his word to Alaina. I thought his brother was gonna be mad i was glad tht Morgan got exactly what she deserved which was nothing. As they say krama is a b--ch bc her ex & his wife was making Alaina life hell but she came out a winner.

Excellent Read

First off I would like to say that you penned this book. I could sympathize with Isaiah. Sometimes as you said you don’t get the time to find the one. I won’t tell the story but I highly recommend it. Keep them coming.
