I liked this story more than I thought I would. It isn’t spicy as such, but it does make you think. What is the definition of consent? When is tradition worth upholding? Who was behind the mystery potion?
I liked Harry and Draco in this fic. The author did a good job in my opinion of making the tension between them work within the plot. The trip back to Hogwarts was nice, and I won’t lie, I loved seeing Harry lose his cool.
Ron and Hermione had significant roles in the story too. It’s been awhile since I read a story where the three were true friends, rather than a Dumbledore setup.
