A short but really interesting read. I appreciated the portion at the start of each collection of stories that gave context to the stories and the time they took place. Obviously I know the basics of apartheid South Africa but didn't know much else about the country at the time or how the people in the country were living. Kuzwayo's stories were interesting and insightful and I really enjoyed reading them. Even the shortest stories were well fleshed-out and didn't feel like they were ever lacking.
