Leah Laurens has always been a lover of historical romance novels since young, especially that of Western Romance.
A romance set in the American West, Leah’s novels involve characters that are strong in character, each with a strong personality and with different pursuits in life. Through Leah’s writings, she hopes to inspire many who are waiting, questioning about love in a sometimes cynical world. That there will always be that silver linings in the clouds which one sees in their life.
Meadow has been working at the bank, but once money goes missing, they blame her for taking the money. To protect her sisters she becomes a mail order bride and moves far away as possible.
Booker has been wanting someone to take care of his girls and since his wife died they have all taken it hard. They wanted a mama so he placed the ad.
While these two were getting close someone shows up to mess everything up for Meadow. Does she run or stay and face the storm?
The characters were well developed, you felt for Meadow and wanted to see her thrive. Booker was great and his girls were all wanting loving. It was nice to see them all work together.

I liked the book. Mail order bride books are interesting to read. I love that they always have a happy ending. Meadow ran away because the banker was accusing her of stealing the money when she knew she did not steal any money and was going to have her arrested if she did not give him his way with her.
The Accidental Outlaw in the series Ladies of The Frontier by Leah Laurens. This is an amusing and entertaining story, with some drama and mystery thrown in. With all the lies and deception Meadow and Booker come to realise they truly love each other. My free opinion ARC. Thanks.
Pretty good book. Accused of stealing money. Innocent and time to leave town. A lot of lying and misunderstanding. I liked that the chapters were not long, making it easier to read. I did not like the spelling and grammar errors.
Meadow is so courageous and a hard worker. She had a hard life after losing her parents and raising her sisters alone at a early age. Working in a bank with someone she thought she could trust after a few years really turned her life around when she got promoted to head teller. Then the unthinkable happened. Women were at the mercy of men in those days more than now. This story really has a lot going on. One of the best of the series yet.
As always Ms. Laurens has woven a wonderful story full of unexpected twists and turns. You will fall in love with these characters and be very surprised at some of the outcomes.
