Utterly fascinating stuff. The uses they put kerosene to makes one shudder, honestly. A lot of the household cleaning stuff was really interesting. I loved the suggestions for enlivening and extending clothes usefulness (which included making childrens dresses reversible for even wear, and knitting extra patches for later mending in identical colours when making knitwear). A fun glimpse into the past, but also made me think about the things I have and use in my day to day life.
