The "Don't ask" "I'm asking" back and forth between Molly and whoever adult she is talking to is troublesome to me. I don't understand why she thinks she can talk to adults that way. And what kind of child thinks it's okay to put stamps on yourself on a field trip to the post office? Completely wasteful and self-absorbed.

wonderful read aloud - kids LOVED that Molly is so silly. great to read about a biracial character (Molly's mom is white and dad is black).
