Dr. Zahoor has published numerous articles on Muslim history, Moorish and Islamic civilization, and on Muslim contributions to science, mathematics, astronomy, and medicine before European Renaissance. Most of these articles are posted at one of the most widely visited Muslim web site "Muslim Scientists and Islamic Civilization," http://www.cyberistan.org/islamic. The web site has been used as a reference source by some colleges and universities in North America, and has received an Internet Guide Award as one of the best on the Internet for quality, accuracy of content, presentation and usability.

A senior engineering scientist and consultant, Dr. Zahoor is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In his professional capacity, Dr. Zahoor has published more than eighty research papers and special reports, including a three-volume handbook, and has served as a reviewer for a few international journals. He is listed in ten Who's Who and international biographical directories. Among his voluntary services to the community, he serves as a Director of The Muslim Community Center in Maryland.
