(Ibunya Dzawin)

“Tolong dibeli ya, buat modal nikah.”
(pacarnya Dzawin)

“Dzawin?? Siapa itu??”
(orang di pinggir jalan)

“Dzawin? Ada tuh di lantai tiga, gedung 3C, kamar 16.”
(satpam kosan dzawin)

“Mau sekalian isi pulsanya?”
(kasir alpa)

“Hasta la visa baby.”
(Arnold Schwarzenegger)

Awal nonton suci pas SMP dan langsung suka sm a Dzawin, dia punya gaya bercerita yang santai tapi relate dengan kehidupan beberapa orang. Penonton jd ikut merasakan apa yg a Dzawin rasakan selama bertahun-tahun jd santri, makin nambah ilmu buat orang awam sepertiku tentang dunia "per-santri-an". Kita jd ga ragu buat ketawa! Sukses trs a Dzawin!!!

Terakhir kali aku masih nonton SUCI, aku salah satu pendukung Dzawin.

Santri Jahil Iyah by Dzawin Nur is a delightful and humorous exploration of life in a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) from the perspective of someone who has experienced it firsthand. Dzawin Nur, known for his wit and comedic talent, brings his unique voice to this collection of stories, offering readers an entertaining and insightful look into the world of a mischievous santri (student).

The book is filled with anecdotes that capture the everyday life of a santri, from the playful pranks and mischievous antics to the more serious moments of reflection and learning. Dzawin’s writing is engaging and light-hearted, making it easy for readers to connect with the characters and their experiences. His ability to infuse humor into the most ordinary situations is what makes Santri Jahil Iyah such an enjoyable read.

One of the strengths of this book is its authenticity. Dzawin’s stories feel genuine and relatable, giving readers a glimpse into a world that is often depicted with a certain reverence but here is shown with all its humor and humanity. The book doesn’t shy away from the challenges of pesantren life, but it also highlights the camaraderie, the lessons learned, and the fun that can be had along the way.

The humor in Santri Jahil Iyah is accessible and will resonate with a broad audience, whether they have a background in Islamic education or not. Dzawin strikes a good balance between comedy and storytelling, ensuring that each story is not just funny but also meaningful. The light-hearted tone makes it a perfect choice for readers looking for something entertaining yet substantial.

However, like many collections of humorous essays, there are moments where the narrative might feel a bit repetitive or where certain jokes don’t land as strongly as others. Despite these minor quibbles, the overall experience is positive, with enough variety in the stories to keep readers engaged throughout.

Overall, Santri Jahil Iyah is a fun and insightful read that offers a unique perspective on life in a pesantren. Dzawin Nur’s blend of humor and authenticity makes this book a must-read for anyone interested in a light-hearted yet meaningful exploration of the challenges and joys of being a santri. Whether you’re familiar with the world of pesantren or just curious to learn more, this book provides a delightful and engaging journey that will leave you both entertained and enlightened.
