I've read it to pick up new vocab and basic grammar patterns in French and it indeed helped. Also the exercises were helpful. But the story was mostly so very dumb... I'm aware that it's supposed to be for children, but I don't think it's a particularly successful attempt for them either. On the bright side, I appreciate that it has both text part and audio part -- now that I have read and translate it all, I plan to listen to the audio before I go to sleep and hopefully it will improve my listening skills as well.

Confusing is the least of the issues. Wrong vocabulary selection. Not recommend at all.

I understand the limitations of a short text, but for everyone's sake make it make sense! This was so chaotic!
