This story, based on a true story, takes a journey into the life of a woman who has been unsuccessfully looking for love in all the wrong places. She eventually looks deep down inside and discovers that her long, disheartening search for true love leads her back to a fragile, scarred, broken hearted little girl, living deep within the woman staring back at her in the mirror. After several pitfalls, stumbles, heartaches and pains, true love eventually finds her, just when she had given up and wasn't looking for it anymore and it carries her into the life she was destined to live.

The purpose of this book is to enlighten, encourage and empower every teenage girl & woman who has ever found herself in that dreadful place of hopelessness. It also speaks to males, as well as females (young & old) challenging & imploring them to be better people. As readers journey, perhaps they can learn the lessons our heroine's life is teaching without having to live the life she lived and if by some mere chance they find they have already followed a similar path, then perhaps they will find that there is yet hope despite where they've been. For it doesn't matter where you've been but where you're going that counts.
