Mouthy - Unfiltered, Uncensored & Honest as Ever

Rate this book
THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLERMegan McKenna is the Essex girl who exploded onto our screens in some of the biggest reality TV shows in Britain, including Ex on the Beach, Celebrity Big Brother and, of course, TOWIE. Her sassy, no-holds-barred story follows her journey to the spotlight - from first ever steps on the stage, through to being flown to the EOTB villa for the first time. She speaks candidly about having her heart broken on national TV, as well as pursuing her musical dreams. Megan also shows readers her more vulnerable side, telling of the shy girl who hid from bullies, her struggles with coeliac disease, and the anxiety she still battles every day. Throughout all the meltdowns and mayhem, she has never let go of her dreams and passions - resulting in the launch of her own clothing and makeup brands, and a gluten-free fine-dining restaurant, McK Grill. MOUTHY will give readers unique access to what really goes on when the cameras stop rolling and the paparazzi have gone home. Megan uncovers the truth behind the headlines in her own words - straight from the famous Megan McKenna mouth!

Surprising!

I really enjoy reading a biography and reality TV stars are my guilty pleasure. Now I wasn’t the biggest Megan fan before reading her book I thought she was a bit of a Brat but I’ve learned now through her story that she is just like all of us girls messed up by men! Her story is definitely worth a read just to actually read what she is really like, she doesn’t have it easy with her celiac and IBS and is trolled a lot for her weight and appearance which is horrible. Her story is all about her following her dream and she is so much more than a reality star! Give her book a try I’m very sure you will be surprised!

A real and raw memoir by Megan McKenna, exploring the highs and lows of her life. Learn about the girl BEHIND the famous TV ‘mouthy’ moments and the truth behind the headlines.

I enjoyed listening to this autobiography as an audiobook, narrated by Megan herself.

If you’re a fan of Megan McKenna, you’ll obviously enjoy this! If you’re not a fan of her but you want to be, this will make you love her!

I already adored her before reading this book, having first discovered her on Celebrity Big Brother, and this book has only made me love her more! She’s so down to earth and genuine, and deserves all of her success!

My only negative to this book is the length, but that’s to be expected I guess when the celebrity in question is still in her twenties and has only been famous for a handful of years!

If you have watched ex on the beach or big brother give this book a go. I wouldn't pay full price for it, because to be honest, I have read better autobiographies. However, it does give you an insight into megans life before the fame and goes into alot of detail about her past relationships. There is not much more to it than that, but i enjoyed it! Keep singing megan you have a great voice when you are not shouting and going mental ha!

I got this book one Christmas as a gift and thought I was going to hate it. Megan is someone who I knew next to nothing about. I can genuinely say this book was acctually really raw, genuine and well written and I didn't hate reading it, it was acctuallu interesting to see in depth about her life and I would totally reccomend this book . Its also good for some life advice especially for young women and girls.

In this book Megan talks openly about her life growing up from her singing dreams, beloved grandad and more in an honest and open look into her life.

I loved hearing her passion for music and performing from an early age and the truth about TV drama she was involved in. It was a witty and real life talk book and I loved it!

I really enjoyed this book. It’s good to read autobiographies to get to know someone away from what is written about them online. It was really interesting and an honest account. I recommend it if you are a fan of Megan.

This was a really good read despite the fact that I never really actually liked Megan, but once I started to read it I became really interested and it gave me a insight of what she really went through behind the scenes, so I would recommend this to anyone.
