A Change Of Heart by Shari J Ryan is a beautifully written contemporary novel about truth, love, friendship and second chances. It is the third book in The Heart Series but can be read as a stand-alone.
This book follows the same action as in book one A Heart Of Time but now it is from the point of view of Ari. This book will break your heart as the great love, friendship and courage reach beyond the pages of the novel.
Once again the focus of the story is organ donation but here we see the action through the eyes of the recipient.
The characters are wonderfully drawn and really lodged in my heart. There are some huge hearts who go through life selflessly giving. They even give with their last breath.
A Change Of Heart is simply beautiful. I have loved every book in this series but this third book is my absolute favourite – maybe because I had already invested time and love into getting to know the characters.
Shari J Ryan is a marvellous author who writes with sensitivity works of great beauty.

When You're Gone!!!
Ari (we met her in A HEART OF TIME ) had been diagnosed with congenital heart failure at age eighteen. She was friends with Ellie, they had a beautiful friendship. Ellie died during childbirth and her heart was giving to Ari as she'd planned.
For five years, she used to write anonymous letters to Ellie's husband, Hunter. The two formed a bond, it was the kind of what both of them needed..
Ari's heart was failing again, this..Saying goodbye to her loved ones wasn't easy but she knew that she gave them closure especially Hunter.
A CHANGE OF HEART is the third and final book in Shari J. Ryan's THE HEART series. Another tearjerker and an incredible journey. Astonishing job by Shari J. Ryan. Two thumbs up and a recommendation for you guys to give this series a try.

Warning: Don't read these Heart stories in public!
I don't know how much more of this I can take-- sob, sob...This series is an interesting study in allowing different characters to share their respective point of view with the reader.
I find the packaging confusing. I find it annoying to get partway into one of the books in the series and find that I have to "click here" to get the remainder of the book. I'm glad I started the series using Kindle Unlimited!

This book reminded me of how much I Love The Heart Series. Shari Ryan writes such, touching stories. The tears were real and the ending couldn't have been written any other way.

Such a sad ending. I knew what was this one was about, and still cried. It did answer several questions.

This whole series is an an incredible story of heartbreak and overcoming. It’s beautiful and I would recommend this series to everyone!
