The Peace Bridge Chronicles

Rate this book
The unfolding story of a border war over design of an international bridge in which a group of citizens' and a brave judge forced a powerful bi-national agency to deal with issues of air quality, public space, and civic responsibility. U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer wrote, "The Peace Bridge expansion project will touch communities in two nations and will serve as a symbol of international cooperation. Bruce Jackson's diligent writing has been an engine for public discourse throughout this most important project." And Jeff Belt, president of the New Millennium Group, wrote, "Bruce changed things with his irrespressible Peace Bridge Chronicles, which pried open minds and then changed them. That's what makes this work a seminal diary in the new history of Western New York."
