After finishing book one I just HAD to get started on book two right away. So here I am, after just finishing that beauty.

So, This ARC was received in exchange for an honest review

Book two starts of where Book one finishes, with Ella coming face to face with Donovan and boy was that scary.

Ella shows true strength and determination in this book even when it’s tested to the max. There’s so much put on her and thrown at her through this book but she still comes out fighting, she’s an incredible woman. I love me a strong heroine in a book, it’s always fab to see.

Connor is as amazing as he’s always been but this book shows us his past. His heartbreaking but truthful past and let me tell you this, it’ll hurt your heart what he’s been through because mine aches so hard. Even going through what he did as a young boy he’s grown into an incredibly strong man who’s got so much love to give and we see that love pour out when it comes to him and Ella, it’s beautiful to see.

This storyline from book one and two has been intriguing, it’s gripped me from the get go and I never wanted the book to end, I’m so sad it did. Ella and Connor’s journey has been hard at times but we see them as a couple overcoming some mountains together.

I’m so happy with this book, everything in it was just on point especially Mack and Jack, I actually cried reading their situation, like seriously Karen, what are you doing to me? You’re making me an emotional mess. *sighs*

All in all this book, this series is a definite must read to anyone. It’s beautiful, sad, heartbreaking and funny. 5 stars from me.

5 Stars.....

Loved this book! Loved this duet! Love this author! The first book, Scripted Reality, was great and this book added even more depth and complexity. Before I continue, I will tell you that this is book two in Karen Frances' Scripted Series and is not a standalone. In fact, the first book ends in a cliffhanger so you will need to read that first in order to enjoy the full reading experience and not feel lost. In addition, if you continue reading this review, there is a chance you will come across a spoiler for Scripted Reality.

Ella and Connor.......
The suspense and intrigue continues. In book one we left off will a cliffhanger. I am trying really hard not to add spoilers in case some of you haven't read the first book and decided to read this review despite my warning.

First I will say that while I do not like cliffhangers, this one did not wreck me. There are two reasons for that. First, with the suspense and issues going on with Ella, I admit I predicted what was going to happen. Things were going well for Ella and Connor and there were only so many pages left in the book so it was easy to guess. At least for me it was. And Second, not only was I prepared, but I had book two waiting on my Kindle. My wait for the outcome was only a page turn away. Thank God!

This book started off like a horse out the gate and kept me engaged til the very end. Ella and Connor's relationship went through a few ups and downs. Connor had a big secret he was trying to keep. As a reader, I didn't know what his secret was until it was actually revealed. I admit, that I would never have guessed what it was. But I will tell you that my heart hurt for Connor and Ella when his worst fears were realized. But I can also tell you that this amazing couple leapt over this emotional hurdle with love and determination. I want to say here, how much I love Karen Frances' couples. She writes such strong, likable characters. Her heroes and heroines are far from perfect. They make mistakes. But they always learn from them. If you haven't read this author yet and how passionate she writes, I absolutely recommend her. I would recommend you start with Moving On. This book is a standalone and is a great base to see how talented Karen is.

While Ella and Connor deal with the angst of her Ex, they are determined to continue with their lives, and their new relationship despite the many issues that arise. I loved how the author added a secondary plot with Ella and her desire to help others. I enjoyed reading that and the extra characters that were introduced.

I won't say too much more so you can enjoy the full experience of Scripted Love on your own. This book has all the feels. The emotions are running high on every page. There is a good amount of angst and suspense to keep your heart pumping.

While Karen Frances is one of my favorite authors to read, this review is my honest and unbiased opinion based solely on writing talent and my enjoyment of the book.

Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

Ella McGregor seems like she's has the perfect movie star life but behind closed doors she is still struggling with the hurt and betrayal of her ex, Donovan. Just when she thinks that she's ready to move on personally as well as professional, her ex shows back up to ruin her.

Conner Andrews has secretly loved Ella for years and is finally getting the chance to show her. While they are trying to make a new and untested relationship work, they find themselves thrust into the media spotlight. When events from Conner's past get brought to the forefront will Ella be strong enough to stand by him or will their fairytale love story fall apart?

This is a fantastic conclusion to the Scripted Series. I love how Karen Frances was able to pull in some of the characters from her other books. It's great to see and catch up with what everyone's been up to:)

In Scripted Love by Karen Frances, book two in the Scripted duet, we get the conclusion to Conner and Ella’s story. I truly enjoyed reading Scripted Reality, book one, however, Scripted Love blew me away. It was a touching story with all the feels.

First, this is the second book in a duet, so you must read Scripted Reality first. Second, I am so glad I got to read both books back-to-back, because as soon as you are done with the first, you want to get your hands on the next one. It seemed as if Ella was finally ready to move forward with Connor by her side. But then their past returns to haunt them both. Suddenly Ella’s ex and Conner’s past put them in the spotlight. Can this new relationship survive?

I loved the conclusion of Ella and Conner’s story in Scripted Love and am looking forward to reading more from this author. We see Ella and Conner’s true strength, love and resolve. We cheer for them and swoon. This was an amazing read and one I highly recommend!

I've enjoyed this book as much as the first one.
I was really glad to read this as soon as I've finished Scripted Reality,I didn't have to wait in order to know more about these characters and their future.

Ella's ex boyfriend and agent has finally showed himself and his vicious plan to hinder her new relationship with the fellow scottish actor Connor Andrews and to make her life miserable.
I grew so attached to the main characters I couldn't not to root for them,to be happy for their successes and to shed few tears when they felt hopeless.

This duet is worth reading,Karen Frances made a great job creating this perfect couple and telling their story.

Well I thought I had enjoyed book 1 but book 2 sealed the deal for me.
Ella and Connor haven't had an easy life since they got together but will they be able to weather the storm and the bumps?
Absolutely love these characters together....Connor just melts my heart and makes me swoon all over the place!
The side characters in this duet are just as good as the main ones... what a soft spot I had for Mack and Jack!
This book has it all .. love laughter friendship heartache and happiness all rolled into one well written story.

This was an emotional conclusion to the Scripted Reality. I binge read this after doing the same to the first book, and thoroughly enjoyed the roller-coaster this book provided! This book provides the awe-inspiring conclusion to her first book.

This book starts with Ella facing her betrayer, and having to continually face his passive threats and resulting jabs at her life, love and livelihood. It was fantastic to see how Ella took her situation and crisis, and grew and found strength and a purpose. She takes Donovan's betrayal and her family's love and trust and turns it into a second purpose in her life. “My life has taken a completely different path and I can't help but smile at how happy I am.”

Scripted Love follows Ella and her love Connor. Their the same great characters from the last book, but they face additional struggles as they try to work through their lives. But along the way they meet new friends, keep up with old friends, and rely on their family. All these characters are well detailed, give a needed depth and base to the story.

Connor and Ella's relationship is put to the test in this book. Despite the challenges they face, their love stayed strong and true. No matter the situation, their love shone through and they had plenty of steamy moments to get them through the tough spots. None of them felt forced, it was all true and heartfelt emotional connection, romance, and sex! “Love is so hard to describe, but when you have it in your life, you find yourself grinning from ear to ear.”

Once again Karen Frances created an well written story that drew me in. The devastating details of not only Ella and Connor, but their families and new pieces of their lives make you root for them and wonder what you can be doing better. “I've realised lately that I have to make time for the things that matter to me...” I think that quote is something that everyone should take to heart. We all need to prioritize the things that are important. And this book reminds us that even fictional people have struggles, loves, and changing priorities.

I am so glad Connor and Ella were able to get their happy ending after the cliffhangar of the previous book. I love that their lives wrapped up nicely, but not too quickly and neatly. Life isn't neat and tidy. The plotline and characters worked well through their troubles and life experiences and grew. “My life has taken a completely different path and I can't help but smile at how happy I am.” I hope each and every reader has the ability and opportunity to be happy and content in their lives.

First off, you must read Scripted Reality before you pick up this one as Scripted Love picks up right where the first left off. The one thing I do have to say is that this author knows how to tackle a tough topic and shed light on it. My heart broke at moments in this story for Ella as she tries to navigate through dealing with an insane ex, as well as wanting to move forward with what she started in the first book. While you have the raw and passionate moments of Ella and Connor you also have some insane tough moments when things come to light thanks to that jerkface Donovan. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to junk punch him. But I love how these two handle and move forward. While they do at times make some mistakes along the way, they are human as well, not just movie stars. I love how spirited Ella is with her outlook on life after everything. She has such drive and passion. And she fights for what she wants no matter the obstacles.
Overall, this was an amazing conclusion to the duet. I loved how Connor overcomes something from his past. How Ella moves forward and brings people into their life that need them. I love that the author took on these subjects that occur in these books and writes them with sheer grace and eloquence. Frances breathes fire into those tough subjects because they should no longer be taboo or ignored. I cannot say enough words about how much I devoured this book and enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants something so beautiful and so unique that it will sweep you off your feet!

Scripted Love (Scripted #2)
By Karen Frances
5 stars
Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction Book Blog

So after the cliff-hanger of book 1 I couldn’t wait to get straight in to Scripted Love, I needed to know what was going to happen next when Ella was faced with her ex. For me this book just surpassed everything that I was expecting! It was an amazing read. I was gripped the whole way through. I was so desperate for Ella and Connor to be together that I don’t think I took my eyes off my kindle once!
Ella really stood out for me in this book, I knew she was strong but she really showed how strong she was in this book. She was a fantastic heroine in this story and I loved her!
I am still in love with Connor as much now as I was in the first book – in fact maybe even a little bit more! We get to find out a little bit more of Connor’s past and I think my heart actually hurt for him. I could feel the love that he has for Ella pouring out of my kindle, I loved reading about them!
Both Scripted Reality (book 1) and Scripted Love have been fantastic reads, I have adored every minute of them and I can’t wait to read more from Karen Frances in the future.

This book continues from the First Book, Scripted Reality which i would highly recommend reading first.

Still Hurt by her ex boyfriend Donovan Bell's actions, Ella is now coming to a place where she feels she can move on with her life. Her feelings for Connor are growing and the chemistry between this couple is bubbling like molten Lava ready to explode !!!! Yet again just when things are going great, Donovan rears his ugly head. Ella is feeling on edge when he tries to contact her acting like they are or should be still together. Things take little twists for the worse with his threats and stalkerish behaviour. Can Connor and Ella survive? Is their new found love strong enough?
Quite a lot happens in this book and i'm not going to give anything away. I definitely found myself more caught up in this book, and some super little twists i didn't expect. A couple of side characters, particularly one almost stole the show !! Connor definitely stole my heart in this book, and Ella really is the kind of person we all want to be !! Well written and a super read !!

Book two starts where book one left is hanging. Elle trying to avoid the ex love she has shared the last five years with; Donovan Bell. A guy that took everything from her leaving her destitute. In true fashion Donovan returns and tries to win Elle back but she has already moved on with Connor, Donovan’s best friend!

This book sees both Elle & Connors characters grow both as individuals and as a couple. We thought Connor was such a down to earth guy but Karen rips our heart open when we learn of his heart breaking past. These characters were a great match as they healed each other before moving forward to claim their HEA.

There are a few twists and turns you don’t see coming and this makes the story more interesting as it avoids predictability. I was more invested in the second part to the story than I was the first. I thought Elle’s character was a bit weak and fickle but I felt she redeemed herself here.

All in all it’s a lovely heart felt romance and I would thoroughly recommend it to those that want a little drama, angst but nothing too heavy.

What an amazing duet! I absolutely loved this book. I loved the first book but this one finally got us closer to the happy ending I needed and wanted for Ella and Connor. They went thru so much but I love that it led them to their "scripted love". I have two favorite quotes from the book that aren't spoilers.

From Connor: "Having you share my life is not something I’ll ever take for granted. There’s nothing scripted about the depths of my feelings for you. The love I have for you can’t be written. It’s pure and comes from the depths of my soul.”

From Ella first and last life from Connor: "You say our love isn’t fake and I know that, but you’re wrong when you say this couldn’t be written. We have in our hands the key to our very own Hollywood blockbuster, because what we share is our happily-ever-after.” “This is us . . . our scripted love.”

This is the second book in this amazing duet, and the suspense and intrigue continues straight on from the cliffy in the first book. Ella and Connor had such an emotional rollercoaster ride, as well as many hurdles on the way, but together they worked through them. This is a beautifully written story, which is heartbreaking, emotional, as well as humorous, which all lead to this series becoming a totally engaging page turner, which had me captivated throughout. This talented author had given her heart and soul into these characters, giving them such depth and complexity. I look forward to reading more of this authors’ work, and always highly recommend her work as she is one of my all time favourites!

I could not wait to get my hands on this book and it didn't disappoint. I was hooked from the very beginning. I am totally in love with Ella and Conner. Ella is still trying to recoup from Donavon's betrayal and him still trying to hurt her. All Connor wants to do is to protect her but when his past comes to haunt him maybe Ella can save him instead. Twists and turns that I didn't expect to keep me on the edge of my seat. I want to be just like Ella when I grow up and Conner well her stole my heart from the very beginning. This is a must read! Just when you think things can't get any worse for Ella McGregor, it does!

Fear not though, because in the style that is common in Karen Frances' work, our strong female character rises above adversity and supports those she loves to do the same!

This is an emotional story which once again highlights the social plights shared by many large cities. All this alongside the main plot defines a winner for sure!

What it also shows is that even the simplest kindness can mean so much to those in need!

Definitely a novel that inspires the reader to make a difference!

First off I want to say you must read book 1 before this one or you will be lost. To much happens that you need to know to understand this one. I clicked on the wrong one and it didn't take me long to realize I started in a middle of a story.
I loved this book. I fell in love with the characters in book 1 but somehow they became even more amazing people in this one. I loved going on their journey as they grew and overcame their past. This book I was emotionally involved in.

Wow what a wonderful conclusion to this series..I loved the plot twists that was in the story...at times it had me gasping at certain parts of the book!

Karen is an amazing writer and this story shows how talented she is! She has written a lovely story of how things can pull you down and rubbish times can happen but there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Wonderful 5 ⭐️ read and I will definitely read more from this author.

Ella and Connor Continued!

OMG, this second book continuing Ella and Connor’s story had me on the edge of my seat and not wanting to put it down. I loved the suspense, the heartache, the sadness and the love. Their story had just about everything. With Ella’s ex, Donovan still causing trouble and messing with her and Connor will they ever get their HEA? This series for me was a definite 5 star read.

I received a copy of this book.
This is a book 2 and you do need to read book 1 Scripted Reality first! You will be lost and you will miss to much if you just try to read this one as it starts off where book 1 ends.

This book was emotional for me to read. I cried a couple of times as I was so invested in the characters. There were some twist and turns that I wasn't expecting. This is one of my favorite duets that I have read. I wasn't sure I could love Connor and Ella any more after book 1 but I did. I loved one of the characters we were introduced to in this story, he stole my heart. I highly recommend this duet to all readers.
