Every single person in this book was grimey! Not just dude who only wanted white women. His ex was foul for knowing what his friends were up to. As dirty as he did her two wrongs don't make a right. His boys was in some straight birch stuff. Men don't usually handle things like that. They were very foul. If that was Jeremy's girl he should have just told his not and explained why she was off limits! If she was his girl why he take up with another dude. The fact she ended up marrying him was to much. I get what the lesson was supposed to be but no one in this book was loyal. Dude had two daughters by his ex how are they supposed to feel when they grow up knowing how dirty their mom husband did their dad. I think all of them were far more grimy than him. The two brothers acting like some dry baby girls.
To say Sidney got anything less than what he deserved is an understatement. His entire demeanor and attitude towards Tamika was horrendous. The underlying reason why was just pathetic. This all could have been avoided on several levels, the first and foremost being Sly telling Sidney why Tamika was off limits. Then had Sidney proceeded, everything else that happened would have been well justified and deserved. Shelby was just nasty. She didn't care about herself to be smashing the crew and she didn't care about Sidney so why go through the charade of marrying him? This was a good book!
I chose only 4 stars because I felt like the ending of the story could have been better. I know he wasn't a bright fella but he should have known NOT to put his hands on a white woman, especially as a black man.... I'm just keeping it real. Secondly, I didn't expect his "Bros" to be so darn shady! I get the moral and the message that the story was trying to put out there, too bad that the circle around him let him fall to his demise instead of trying to educate the fool or encourage him to seek help.
This was the best insight to a man's physc that I've ever read! Omg and karma is a B with no limits. This is a must read for ALL Tamika BRAVO for getting rid of Sidney and not looking back he got everything he deserved, you can't judge a book by its cover and you shouldn't make others pay for someone else hurting you, oh and WHOREISM IS IN ALL RACES, SAME AS FOUL MOUTHS AND ATTITUDE. AGAIN GREAT JOB
Wow. What a great read. I hated Sid and all black men like his dumb azz. I'm soooo glad he got what was coming to him. This was so good. I couldn't put it down. Omg. The only reason I didn't give it 5 was because the typos are pretty bad but other then that this book was awesome.
I love Tamika style....Classy and Shelby....Trashy.... Good for Sidney, he got what he deserved for stereotyping Black Women. Not all Black Women are what he believes is ghetto and ratchet just like all White Women isn’t sweet and innocent. But his friends did him dirty.
The twist and turns of this book was so amazing. I’m honestly happy that happened to Sidney but I wish it wasn’t by his friends. It’s good to see Tamika happy ending. Wish it was a two sider where her story was being told as well. Read this in a few hours smh.
This was done twilight zone ish! Karma is and was a B!%(# He should have known from the warnings and red flags. Sadly his perception of Black women is shared by many black men. Just sad.
This book takes the male and the female through all of the emotions felt by people in and around interracial relatioships, proud, important, scared, biased, isolated ,jealous, and not surprised by the disrespect for those wrapped up in interracial relationships.
This book was interesting it caught me off guard. I am just glad his first wife found happiness. His friends are some thing else I was caught off guard for sure
It was a good book. I didn’t care to much for all the down talk on Black women but Overall it was good. Karma is a Bit$h is all I can say and poor Sid met his Karma.
This was pretty damn crazy. I wish there had been more of a background given for Tameka and a few other details, but over all, this was a really good story with a crazy plot twist.
This was short, sweet and straight to the point. Self-hatred has been something that has been an issue for quite some time. I won't say too much so as not to give away details.
