Awakening at the Edge of the World

Rate this book

First Part of 2148 Singularity trilogy.

Mankind has always been bound to its biological needs. They have struggled hard to conquer their solar system, but Space has proved too vast, too hostile for their fragile bodies.

Meanwhile space to their robots was like the ocean to fish, and in the asteroid belt was hiding a group of fugitive machines, self-supporting artificial life and intelligence, calling themselves SINGULARITY, who could easily overrun the whole galaxy, if they could just break the chains of humankind's greed and paranoia.

2148 Singularity - part one was a great read. It starts off really intriguing, a man who wakes up with no memory of who he is or where he has come from. As the story progresses and you think the characters are headed in a certain direction, it surprises you with a curve ball, leaving you hanging on every word. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I wanted more! :)
I cannot wait to read part two.

Amazing story, great read, and I'm itching so badly for part two. If you're into scifi of any kind, do yourself a favour and check this out, you won't regret it!
