At twenty-nine, the beautiful and spiritual Symeka Douglas knew exactly what she wanted out of life, and with love. Evian Parker lacked nothing beside the will to officially commit. Embarking thirty years of life, he harbored traits women preferred their partner to have. Fearful of the outcome, Evian neglects the depth she’s desperate for. The things he’d done in the past was forgiven. However Symeka couldn’t help but wonder if he’d gotten it all out of his system. Something was causing him to hold back, and she was willing to do whatever it took to find out. Will the ultimate discovery cause Symeka to put her foot down? Or will she continue to settle for a man who is afraid of the unknown pertaining commitment?

Listened to this novella, which captivated my attention, at work. Before I knew it, the story had ended with a major cliffhanger; left me wanting more pages. I wish book two was available for instant purchase. The only issue (not major enough to reduce rating, but noticed) the n* word was used, just wished that term could have been swapped out for another. Author Chelley is a new-to-me writer, hope to read more by her in the near future.

Awwww!

This is a sweet short story that shows how stepping out on your mate for pleasure can turn your relationship and someone else's life upside down. Now Evian was a guy that knew who he wanted, but his commitment issues led him to cheating on the live of his life, Symeka. Sy is a strong successful woman who loves her man, but decided enough was enough. Author Chelley, I am looking forward to the full novel of this because I really want to skin Demetria myself. I rate this five stars because of context and storyline. Great job!

I can't wait for the full novel to see just how crazy things get. Evian brought more drama than a little bit into Symeka's life. It was clear Demetria was unstable and Evian missed a lot of the obvious signs. Evian had some serious commitment issues but had to quickly learn what he stood to lose if he didn't get his act together. Symeka seems to be level-headed but Demetria isn't playing fair and it's only right to fight fire with fire at this point. Literally! I do wish it was a bit longer but hopefully the end result will be well worth the tease.

She has this knack for writing love stories with real situations and giving you a inside view of what craziness looks like when you dickmitized!
