I’m not a big poetry reader, but I felt these poems were very easy to read and follow along with, even for beginners. I felt they flowed really well and they were very inspiring. The poems dealt with love and heartache and life. All of them poems could be appropriate for anyone at any point in their lives. I felt that the writing was really well done.

My only con was that I couldn’t get into the poetry. That’s just a “me thing” as they were well done overall.

Verdict: Amazing poems for the poetry lover in your life.

Powerful Beauty

I absolutely loved the fluidity of this book. It is a strong collection of poetic art. I would recommend it to anyone interested in taking a journey into a beautiful, heavenly, and at times futuristic world that one can only find through the pages of this book.

This style of short-stories reminds me of Poe or Lovecraft. Robin Chappell's writing is modern, fresh and upbeat.

The poetry is incredible at digging deep. Amplifying, emphasizing, heightening, intensifying, magnifying.... doing exactly what poetry is suppose to do. Poetry stirs the soul. And that is exactly what this book did for me.

These poems, stories, shorts, or prose, what ever name an expert of words would like to use, have brought me joy and sadness, sometimes snapping me to attention. The works in this book do exactly what poetry should. Each story made me feel.

I highly recommend even if you do not normally read poetry, you will love this book. It is for adults and mature readers.

Great title, and it was indeed a crowning frenzy. I've never read a collection of poem-stories before, but this was a good first dip into the waters. A mix of beautiful inventive language, the book contained intense moments that made me think and feel in ways I hadn't expected to. The magic in these stories -- sci-fi fantasy fairytale elements in most of the stories -- illustrated the poems' messages in delightful (and sometimes delightfully dark) ways. The stories brought up many issues of today, which I appreciate. And on top of it, there are some really steamy sections, enhanced greatly by the poetry of those sections.
