While lots of parents start out with smooth spoon-led purees, baby-led weaning (BLW) is fast growing in popularity. But you don't have to choose one or the other.
Baby-Led Weaning Recipe Book is designed to offer a flexible approach to weaning. These expert recipes are designed to offer a flexible approach to weaning with simple methods and everything parents need to know about getting started with self-feeding. Baby-Led Weaning Recipe Book is a must-have resource for parents and is the perfect standalone guide for those wanting to explore this method exclusively.
The recipes in this cookbook are fine, but my main complaint is the the "baby-led weaning" label is not accurate. The majority of recipes contain ingredients that are not approved for babies under a year old, and for the most part they would only be suitable for toddlers and up. The main reason I've reached for baby-led weaning cookbooks is to learn how to make complete meals that are suitable for my now 10-month-old babe; once she is able to eat sugar, and salt, and corn, and the like, I'm not going to want a "baby-led weaning" cookbook, I'm just going to make her what we're having.
