Effective Reading (how to encode what you read; relate to previous knowledge; understanding the organization of a selection, etc.) Getting the Most Out of Lectures & Textbooks (making notes efficient, getting the important points). Simple-But-Effective Study Techniques (peg or hook system, mental images, mnemonics, recitation of oral summaries, key point cards, etc.) Test Wiseness (reviewing, not cramming; to change or not change answers, etc.) Writing Papers and Exams; Developing a Personal Study Plan.
