"George W. Bush: Our 43rd President" becomes the eleventh book about this President that I've read. Much like the one by Matt Donnelly, this comes with a nostalgic feel, reminding me of books I saw as a young child. This is not a one-sentence-per-page book. There are paragraphs--which admittedly sometimes jump from topic to topic. This is a historical view, free of partisan commentary, though Burgan did occasionally mention contradictory opinions and pushback from Democrats and even his own party. As always, reading about the Bush presidency (second) is always nostalgic in good ways and in bad ways depending on the topic. 4 stars.
I read George W. Bush and I could use this in my classroom to teach facts about George W. Bush. Students can also read about an old president for the United States.
This book is all about George W. Bush's life. Most of the story it talks about his successes and failures during his political career. It talks about how devoted and hard-working he was. He was one of the most devoted presidents because he kept on going and didn't give up even after the wars he faced.
I like this book a lot because I like to talk political. George W Bush went to the air force academy and that's what I would like to do when I'm older. He was a president and thats one of the other thing that I look at.
