September 8, 2025I could not read a long issue during this event, which I was already struggling to get through.
In saying that, I did skim a few of the beginning pages, just to see why C&D agreed to be part of the villain's team.
There is a line I thought was funny; ‘... Maybe we ought to hire a new public relations guy!’
Anyway, they agreed to do it because Cloak was too weak to take them all on (for some reason), and the pair also thought they’d be able to ‘trip up’ the villains and save innocents where they could.
Also worth noting, Thor mentions he has a suspicion about the ‘source’ of the heroes’ problems.
