About the author

Montreal writer Claude Lalumière is the author of the story collections Objects of Worship , Nocturnes and Other Nocturnes , and Altre persone / Other Persons and of the mosaic works The Door to Lost Pages and Venera Dreams: A Weird Entertainment . He has edited fourteen anthologies, including two Aurora Award—nominated volumes in the Tesseracts series. His first fiction – “Bestial Acts” – appeared in Interzone in 2002, and he has since published more than 100 stories; his work has been translated into French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Serbian, Hungarian, Romanian, Turkish, and Russian and adapted for stage, screen, audio, and comics.

Libro brevissimo, ma che rimane impresso nella memoria, perché tocca argomenti fondamentali della vita da punti di vista completamente diversi.
I tre racconti sono scorci distopici che partono molto tranquilli con il primo in cui vediamo nuove umanità, proseguono facendo notare un certo aspetto delle religioni per finire poi con un ultimo fortissimo racconto.
Consigliatissimo!

Tre racconti brevi... non aspettatevi la classica fantascienza. L'ultimo potrebbe essere apprezzato anche dalle persone amanti dell'horror. Tra i temi anche il rapporto umanità ambiente, a me caro.
In alcuni passaggi scuote emotivamente, soprattutto l'ultimo racconto.
