This book “Our Unsung Heroes” Volume 1 is based back in WWII, “Our Unsung Heroes” is a program created by Theodore Roosevelt and approved by the United States Congress. A Colonel named, Colonel Hansen and his team to go into Germany into a prison camp and get it ready for helping German spies and P.O.W’s in getting out of Germany and into London England to help London and the United States in winning the war by doing sabotage to the enemy in every possible way. This book is like the old Television Series “Hogan’s Heroes” but with different characters with Colonel Hansen being one of the characters, and different plots in different episodes. This book is a War/Comedy book that has a good twist in what Colonel Hansen and his team does to the Commandant of the camp and the entire German Army including the Gestapo.
