First published in 1984, Ewart turns his ‘big brother’ eye on many contemporary subjects of the time with extraordinary penchant for creating rhymes how you’d least expect!
The greatest cricket test match ever(according to him), rugby, Wodehouse,Auden, Phantom of the Opera, all receive the Ewart treatment.
An entertaining wander into recent historical references and, actually, the style of poetry I sometimes write!
