This is a great book to introduce a noob into understand a role as a coach/mentor as well as what is expected of them. I would not recommend this book to those who are actually coaches and mentors. It's just a rundown list of what a coach/mentor should do in order to allow the learning to "master" things. It is mostly redundant and repetitive.
I would only acknowledge the fact that is good at condensing information, organizing the ideas concisely, and explaining the ways to end relationship between the coach/mentor and the learner. As a college undergraduate, it expanded some of my knowledge on how to learn from those who are more experienced in the work force in general.
