"businessbuddies" is an apropos header title for this book. It's like having a little performance management coach in your purse or briefcase.
The sections are laid out in an extremely easy to read format, with each section color coded and with numbered steps to help guide you through the process or tips.
What really impressed me was the broadness of the topic "performance management" this book covered. It dealt not only with the performance reviews, but also with how to prepare for the meeting with your employee, how to develop efffective (SMART) goals, individual performance reviews, providing recognition, training, dealing with poor performance, etc.
This book provides an extremely well-rounded approach and contains just about everyone one would need to know about performance management. I highly recommended it for any manager or HR professional.
