An Anthology of True Crime Some people are desperately unlucky. Misfortune follows them, leeching into every part of their lives. And just when it seems that matters might be turning for the better, it strikes again. Others contribute to their own personal tragedies, individual actions steering their lives, like a mis-programmed driverless car, towards their own downfalls. Which of these destinies applies most to Sandra Bridewell depends very much on your own perspective, your personal interpretations of the facts, of the suggestions, of the outcomes. But the sobriquet ‘The Black Widow’ gives a clear idea of where many stand in their interpretation of her life choices.
What is clear is this...Sandra Bridewell loved finding new husbands. And loved killed them even more.
Dating back to the 1800’s all the way to the 2000’s, this book detail the life stories and trials of multiple women and their multiple killings of their many husbands (one of them had as many as seven!) They used a variety of methods and the trial details are interesting. Each woman’s story is told by a different author. On the whole, in my opinion, the book became room muck fact and not enough emotion, but I far mor enjoy a good story rather than “just the facts”.... this books is full of facts with very little to no, fluff or emotion. Others that enjoy that type will get far more out of it than I did.
I am not getting how "whoever" can keep publishing the same tired stories over and over and actually trying to charge $10 for them. They are all similar in cover and content. Generally each book will introduce one unique story as chapter one with a different pic on the cover them disintegrate into the same five or six old stories contained in all the similar books. Pick only if you get them for free and have no more than 10 minutes to devote to reading. Rubbish.
