She’s hit rock bottom…in Las Vegas.
Janelle Carlisle thought signing up to be a sugar baby would be a great way to pay down her student loans and prove she’s finally over her last boyfriend—two birds, one stone. But it all goes cockeyed. Now she’s sharing an undersized hotel room with one drool-worthy, ex-Army, IT security consultant, at least until she can get her ID back from the sugar daddy and her ass onto a plane back to Florida. She’s in no rush, though, if it means accomplishing at least one of her goals...

He’s worth the gamble.
Despite her smart mouth and stupid plan, Trent Mason can tell that Janelle’s a good girl. She’s told him so. Repeatedly. But she’s not very convincing, coming onto him with a boldness he’d have expected from his last girlfriend, an adult film star. Trent’s determined to hide his past as a pro poker player and accidental porn actor, but he’ll tell Janelle the truth if it means scaring her off.

It doesn’t. He’s not sorry about what happens next.

Win big or go home.
Trent has no intention of getting involved. Janelle’s not going away. Her new career puts them on a collision course with Trent’s past. He once gambled and lost everything—no way is he going all in on Janelle. Someone’s going to lose big—unless they can hit the jackpot together.

Sequel to Say You'll Stay. Standalone steamy contemporary romance with a happy ending. Mature audiences/18+.

Say You Need Me was a steamy, emotional read.
Carrie Lomax easily cought my attention with her writing skills.I like how her story and main characters develop page after page keeping me interested and involved.

I was curious to read this story and I wasn't disappointed.Janelle and Trent aren't two-dimensional characters, they are complicated.
The attraction between Janelle and Trent is palpable from their first encounter but their journey is not as easy as to give in to the sex pleasure. I was so glad to follow their personal and professional growth.

I've been looking forward to Janelle's story since I finished Alyssa and Marc's and I'm so glad it's finally out. Janelle is Alyssa's younger sister who's mired in student debt and just can't get a break. She's smart and has a college degree and everything but can't get an apartment or a good job because once anyone checks out her credit, well, she's a risk.

So she takes up a friend's suggestion to find herself a sugar daddy through an agency. Her friend says it's easy and with her looks and those boobs, goodness, she'll score herself a sugar daddy in no time. Soon, Janelle finds herself in Las Vegas... and not quite up to what prospective Sugar Daddy wants her to do. Before she knows it, she's hit rock bottom in Vegas and she didn't even have to visit the craps table.

When she runs into Trent Mason, former professional poker player (and accidental porn star), he offers to help her out until her flight leaves for Florida in two days. Trent is starting over and the last thing he needs is a distraction. But he also can't kick the poor girl out on the Strip just like that.

Now if only they can keep their hands off each other while having to share a small hotel room because nothing else is available, then life would be all fine and dandy... but then that's easier said than done.

I enjoyed this sexy, smart and steamy story of Janelle, the hopeless romantic who's not the type to play around with her heart and Trent, the fallen Icarus who's loved, lost, and is too scared to venture forward no matter what his heart says. It's like Cinderella at the ball meets Icarus with his broken wings... I loved it.

I loved this book. It’s definitely not the story I was expected. It’s well written, the characters are strong. It was a rollercoaster of emotions all the way, with some hot scenes, and so, it keeps me on my toes all along. Really perfect. It could have been too sweet, but it isn’t.
Janelle escapes the man who manhandles her to have sex, even if at first, it was her who was trying to be a sugar baby. Trent is an ex poker player, who’d been known because of a sex tape his ex girlfriend had left on internet. After 6 years in army, he’s a specialit in cyber security, and security in general.
He helps Janelle to recover the things that the sugar daddy stole her. Janelle and Trent are attracted, but neither of them want of this relation : she’s a good girl who doesn’t want a hook-up, and he’s still struggling with his past.
They discover they’re good business partners, so even if he doesn’t want anything to go farther, they have to be together.

This was the second book in the Say You Will Series. In this book Janelle is down on her luck and mired in student loan debt. Add to that, a bad experience as a sugar baby. Trent offers to help her and she accepts. Their relationship is rocky at best in the beginning but it's fun to watch the emotional pull they have. Both are complex characters. A story of hardship and overcoming those. A good story with very complex characters and a story line was was a good read. I read a reader copy via Hidden Gems and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Say You Need Me is a sexy, emotional story.

When Janelle meets Trent on the Strip after being kicked out of her hotel room because she wouldn't do what her prospective Sugar Daddy wanted her to do, she can't imagine that the man will take her on a roller coaster of emotions. He takes her in and helps her out because he can't possibly leave her out on the streets with nothing to her name. After all, her prospective daddy had stolen her wallet and all her belongings, so she had only the clothes on her back when he kicked her out.

Trent is a former professional poker player, an accidental porn star, and he's starting over. The last thing he needs is a damsel in distress adding to his complicated life. But, he's too good of a guy to leave her on her own. Sounds like a good plan, but keeping his hands off her just may be impossible.

I really enjoyed Say You Need Me. Janelle especially is easy to relate to and connect with. We've all been there with student loan debt and not knowing what to do about it, or at least I've been there. I like that she's a smart, independent woman with a huge heart. Trent was a little harder for me to connect with because of his hot and cold attitude with Janelle, but I did understand that he had lots of demons and issues to contend with. I just wish he hadn't hurt Janelle so much while he worked through his issues. Still, their journey is a fabulous read - steamy, emotional and engaging with great characters who share a strong connection.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

Janelle is in a very difficult situation. After graduating college with mounting student loans, she’s still struggling to survive even while working two jobs. She gets desperate enough to try being a sugar baby, even if it’s against everything she believes in.
She meets Trent who comes to her rescue after her first, yet disastrous encounter as a sugar baby. Trent is stuck in his past. His own poor choices and those that others forced on him weigh him down, even years later. When he meets Janelle, he’s instantly attracted. But he tries to fight it to protect her.
I really liked this story. At first, Janelle came off whiny. She could have easily tried asking her family for help. She also came off a bit strong and too persistent at times. But maybe that’s exactly what Trent needed. I initially really liked him, but he was a complete jerk when he broke things off with Janelle after seeing Penny . I’m glad he redeemed himself. I didn’t read the first book, but didn’t feel that I missed anything pertinent to Janelle and Trent’s story.

Amazing.

This was another page turner by Carrie Lomax, with the the heat turned all the way up. Janelle took a risk by going to Vegas to become a sugar baby to help clear her debts. What she ended up with was a creep and a prince charming with very rough edges. Trent got my pulse pounding but I wanted to knock him out sometimes because of rude he was to Janelle at times. I am really looking forward to this double wedding especially with social media being involved, what could go wrong lol.

A Review of Say You Need Me by Carrie Lomax

Janelle & Trent - 4 Stars

This is the second book in this series, but with different main characters, so it can be read as a standalone story. There are so many twists and turns that you will need to buckle in and hang on tight for this rollercoaster read. Definitely worth taking the time to read and enjoy.

Janelle is having trouble making ends meat and will soon be homeless, she decides to become a sugar baby end heads to Vegas to meet her sugar daddy. Things don’t go well and she gets kicked out of her hotel room, she meets Trent and he offers to help her. Both Trent and Janelle have some baggage but when sparks fly will they give each other a chance? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and lots of emotion. I liked it.

I completely fell in love with this book, along with Trent and Janie. Trent is trying to move forward from his past mistakes and Janie is trying to recover from her present mistakes when they meet. They shouldn’t have worked but they had so much chemistry together, that you had to root for them. There ware a couple times I wanted to smack Trent but I’m glad he finally got his head out of his behind.

This is the second book in the series but can easily be read on its own.I just loved Trent he is damaged by his past and a bit of a jack of all trades(ex-military, Ex poker play and last but not least was hooked up with a porn star). Then we have Janie she is his complete opposite believes in happily ever after but has massive amounts of debt but will not ask for help and decides to try the sugar daddy route. These two were really hot together this was a good read and I enjoyed it

I loved how Janelle grew in this book. And Trent, oh my. But why are guys so dense sometimes? I really didn't like the way Trent treated Janie in the beginning, but he got better. And he was malicious, just misguided and stuck in his head too much. He and Jamie were really great together, he just couldn't get out of his own way. Great series so far!

I thought the book was very soso. The blurb was quite interesting but the book itself fell flat for me. Janelle finds herself in Vegas, after a failed attempt at hooking a sugar daddy, in the arms of Trent, The plot didn't seem very believable (too extreme) to me and I didn't quite like the author's writing style. It sounded quite impersonal.
