Everything is a chess match … and Lady Hel is in it to win it!
The gods have rewound time on Midgard to fix the latest shenanigans of Lady Hel and Loki, but there are some things even the gods can’t fix. In their haste, they’ve left pockets of magic behind, and now new magical beings are rising. Of course, Lady Hel is going to use this to her advantage. The goddess of Helheim is after the crown of her beloved Elf King and will stop at nothing to retrieve it.
Back in Asgard, Sif finds herself at the mercy of the gods; she’s learning not everything that glitters is gold. Secrets abound as the gods attempt to force her and Thor closer together. She has her reservations – which she’s pretending have nothing to do with Loki.
Thor’s hoping to redeem himself, and that’s hard to do when he’s considered to be at fault for the entire debacle that he and Midgard find themselves in. He also wishes to redeem his image in Sif’s sight, and that means traveling back to the pockets of magic left over from the Dark Elves recent retreat so he can close them. She’s the key to closing these pockets, which means they will have to work together, even if she doesn’t desire to.
Broken promises, bad magic and enmity are all the ingredients needed to spark another battle, and secrets unveiled. How can you trust those who betray you?
TINA GLASNECK can't imagine a world without books. Her works have been classified in several genres, including mystery, suspense, fantasy and paranormal romance, and new adult.Yet for Tina, it is all about the characters and their journeys.
An avid reader with a love of traveling, meeting new people and exploring her world, her interest in law, religion, history, fantasy, and dragons, made writing about it an “easy” choice. Give her a castle to enchant her, and tell her a funny story to make her snort with laughter, but please don’t serve her cake with red icing.
Tina takes joy in beautiful architecture, lively cities and world travel. She enjoys creating make-believe worlds where she sometimes resides, and is often thinking and tinkering on her next story. Sometimes she feels like a real life Cinderella, without the ashes or the fairy godmother, and at other times, she is just a girl, looking for a chance to tell that next great story.
Tina Glasnek returns in Hellbound with the continuation of Lady Hel's story. A lot has transpired and piecing it all together is a puzzle. When I picked up this book I did not know that it was book 3 in the series. I had read the prequel and was looking forward to reading the next book in this series. This book was not it. LOL! I did forge ahead and tried to see if I could figure out what all had been transpiring since I last found Lady Hel. Let me tell you...a LOT has happened. Her beloved is dead, the gods are at war and the world is in chaos. There is division and plans are being made. This story is fascinating, but without the lead up from the other books, I am totally lost. I'm fascinated but I also want to know what happened. I want to know why Thor killed Lady Hel's beloved. I want to know all that has transpired before now. If you have read the previous books leading up to this one, pick this book up! The story is fascinating and engaging. I will be going back and reading the other books and then coming back and editing my review to reflect my thoughts on this book properly once I have done so. As of right now, I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. I'm enjoying the story and the series, but skipping from the prequel to book 3 is a huge jump one should not make. LOL! For those who have read the series in order from the start...dive in and enjoy as Lady Hel takes steps to recover her beloved once again. This is the forth book in this series and once again I couldn't put this one down. I basically sat down and read it from start to finish. Sif and Lady Hell are back. Without giving spoilers, know that this book is a must read after the first and once again puts the reader smack into a world of norse mithology. This is a good book and the time passes quickly as you wonder what exactly will happen next. This doesn't end on a cliff hanger but does leave you waiting for the next book in a very good way. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes books with Norse mythology because it's really good in that aspect. It shows that the author did some good research into it.

I don’t even know what I can say about this book that won’t give away all of the amazing twists, turns, and double-crosses. Once again, everything is all topsy-turvy and nothing is as straight-forward as it seems to be. Just when I think I have a handle on what’s going on and what might be coming next, I realize just how big that delusion was. I am shocked to see who some of the characters are turning out to be, both good and bad. And now I’m dying to read the next book in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Hellbound is Book 4 in The Hell Chronicles. This is a must read book and series. Queen Hel definitely wants to reunite with her beloved King. Unfortunately he is in Midgard and she must have help to retrieve him. Will she get the help she needs? Will the rescue be successful? What will he be like? There is so much going on that you hate to put the book down, afraid you might miss some little detail. This is writing at its best and I highly recommend this book and series. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
I received a copy of this for a fair and honest review. This is the 4th book in the Hell Chronicles. There is still a lot going and revenge is on everyone's mind. There is magic at work that had changed things. Not everything is fix, but there is a lot in the works. Sif is not sure how to believe or trust. Thor is trying to make amends for his part in it and get Sif to trust him. Pick this up and enjoy all the new going-ons.

This is a fab addition to this series! Well written this has it all, action, adventure, magic, Norse mythology and a kick ass female lead and a fab storyline though I do recommend that you read the first 3 books before this one! An interesting and intriguing series that once started you will not want to put down!
The struggle for Sif continues and costs her some dear to her. My only frustration is that she doesn’t seem to be growing in her confidence as quickly as I’d like. She seems to get sucked back in by those who use and deceive her over and over again.
Overall good and page turning tale. Looking forward to seeing more growth in the future.
It had been five years since the invasion and there is still pockets of magic around with the dark elves still around. She has to join up with thor to solve a problem but things may work in her benefit. See how they will get on

This is the fourth book Hell Chronicles series and boy the action just does not end. If you like Norse mythology with a twist you will like this series! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
The story just gets more complex with all of the revenge going on. There are plenty of new characters along with the usual ones that are caught up in the intrigue. Of course there is a cliffhanger, and I need answers to my questions.
It was quite good read was roped in from the first page to the end of the story, the storyline was well thought out and quite steamy scenes, as challeges are thrown in leads to their happiness.
Fast read immersed is Norse mythology That will keep you intrigued in what will happen on The next page. Action takes place in few pieces and That made story more interesting.
