Tina Glasnek returns in Hellbound with the continuation of Lady Hel's story. A lot has transpired and piecing it all together is a puzzle.
When I picked up this book I did not know that it was book 3 in the series. I had read the prequel and was looking forward to reading the next book in this series. This book was not it. LOL! I did forge ahead and tried to see if I could figure out what all had been transpiring since I last found Lady Hel. Let me tell you...a LOT has happened. Her beloved is dead, the gods are at war and the world is in chaos. There is division and plans are being made.
This story is fascinating, but without the lead up from the other books, I am totally lost. I'm fascinated but I also want to know what happened. I want to know why Thor killed Lady Hel's beloved. I want to know all that has transpired before now.
If you have read the previous books leading up to this one, pick this book up! The story is fascinating and engaging. I will be going back and reading the other books and then coming back and editing my review to reflect my thoughts on this book properly once I have done so.
As of right now, I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. I'm enjoying the story and the series, but skipping from the prequel to book 3 is a huge jump one should not make. LOL! For those who have read the series in order from the start...dive in and enjoy as Lady Hel takes steps to recover her beloved once again.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
