The Overlooked Spiritual Discipline: Fasting

Rate this book
Reading the Bible, praying before meals and going to the spiritual disciplines of the modern Christian. I pray you are expecting more. Fasting is not talked about in the church, despite its potential power and effectiveness. It is a spiritual discipline that has so much fire, and yet it is quite overlooked.
If you want to spring into your relationship with the Lord, learn about the joy of obedience, and advance your faith further than you believed possible, this book is exactly what you are looking for.

I found this book easy to read. Matthew Schaefer has a nice, relaxed writing style. Although I have fasted before, this book gave me insights into it's benefits and the spiritual opportunity to show how much I love and trust our Savior. I hope we hear more of Matthew's spiritual approach to life.
