The Path to Contentment

Rate this book
This book is a compilation of stories and reflections, based on the three spiritual gifts that Sydney Banks uncovered in the early 1970s. He called these Mind, Consciousness, and Thought. Syd knew these gifts were foundational to the human experience, but it wasn’t until later, when the first psychologists came to study with Syd, that they became known as the Three Principles. Syd’s discovery introduced a new paradigm to the fields of psychology and psychiatry. The chapters in this book tell of amazing journeys of inner evolution, of finding a path to contentment that starts “inside” and ends “inside.” It is a book filled with heart and soul; with stories of insight leading to success beyond what could have been imagined; of challenges faced and overcome with love and laughter; of finding contentment after depression.

Refreshing and timeless insight

I felt like I had a backstage pass to wisdom of the ages. I embraced the experience shared and could sense the pureness of Heart in Elsie’s writing. It’s such a privilege to discover this understanding.
