I graciously gave this story 3 stars because it is a sweet (if a little unrealistic) story (I will not post a spoiler synopsis, though). I will, however, say this; I can never get past an author's misuse of a word. In this case, this author used the word snuggly, when she meant snugly. I do not believe it was accidental, as she made the same mistake twice. This type mistake distracts you from what you are reading and ruins the mood and tone of the book. This seems to be happening a lot more in books these days, so I'm unsure who is dropping the ball the worst, the author, editors or proofreaders. I know authors are often harried by deadlines ********************************* From Chapter 5: Her niece slipped her coat on, then waited for Autumn to zip her snuggly inside it.
From Chapter 10: She glanced down at Blue, whose tiny, perfect hand was wrapped snuggly around her own.
Snuggly (adj)- comfortable, warm, cozy.
Snugly (adv)- 1.in a comfortable, warm, and cozy or well-protected manner. "the baby nestled snugly in his rescuer's arms"
*2. in a way that is tight or close-fitting; securely.
The Cowboy's Little Girl a Bent Creek Blessings series by Kat Brookes. Tucker Wade was married but no one knew about it except the girls twin sister, Autumn Myers. Tuckers wife never told him she was pregnant. Autumn turns up at Tuckers ranch with Tuckers daughter, Blue, that he didn't know about. Autumn is guardian of Blue and said she won't turn her over to him until he proves himself. That he will place Blue before anything else. Tucker falls in love with Blue right away and Blue is very happy to have a Daddy. Tucker and Autumn start to have feelings for each other. Which they are trying to fight the feelings. A very happy, romantic story.
I love reading Kat's books. This one has a powerful storyline. In it we meet Blue Wade a little girl who meets her daddy Tucker Wade for the first time. Her Aunt Autumn introduces her after the death of her mom. Its a powerful story of forgiveness and starting over. Its a story that will have you turning the page to see what is happening next. It will have you laughing and crying. I really enjoyed this book. I'm hoping for a new series for I would love to see the brothers find their mates.
Oh my goodness! I am in love with this book! It was a quick read but it was so well written and I feel in love with Tucker Wade and Blue Belle Wade. They're relationship had me all giddy and excited. I was excited for Blue to have a dad and one that just loves her so much. I would have to say that I was really hoping that Autumn would end up with one of the other Wade brother's but amazing book!

What happens when Tucker opens his door and his ex wife's twin sister tells him he's a father and has been for years? The ex wife is dead but Autumn is the opposite of her sister except for her looks. You won't want to miss this story as Tucker becomes a father and tries to fight off his growing attraction to Autumn
Picked this to read because I liked the cover and the title intrigued me. I figured how she had wrapped daddy around her little finger from day one. I was not expecting to be there as they spoke their first words and he was in shock. I figured being a love inspired novel it was going to go one way and it did but the path there was enjoyable.
I've not read this author before, but after reading this book, I'll sure be looking for more of her books! This was a sweet read. Happy to note this is the first book in a series that I hope continues on with the Wade family!
This seemed to be a good story that was well-written, but a guy marrying one sister and after she dies, potentially marrying her twin sister, just seemed creepy to me and I couldn't overlook that feeling and enjoy the book.
