J. Greco (b. 1957) is a retired English professor living on the north shore of Long Island. For over thirty years, he taught courses in writing, literature, and film. Born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, he attended Brooklyn Technical High School and, in 1980, relocated with his family to Tampa, Florida, where he earned a BA and an MA at the University of South Florida. Returning to New York in 1989 to complete a PhD in English at Stony Brook University, today he is an authority on the career of director Robert Siodmak and currently adapting for the screen Anton Chekhov’s "Three Sisters."
