Jasper Jones is one half of the world's hottest music duo... he's got it all, the career, the lifestyle, the money, the fame, the friends...
But most importantly, after one hell of a battle, he's finally got her.
Hannah Montgomery.
Until one day he doesn't.
Hannah loves Jasper, but that's the only thing she's sure of. Her head is talking louder than her heart and her vulnerability is the very thing standing in the way of their future.
Can Hannah silence her insecure mind, or will Jasper have no choice but to play the ultimate game of hide and seek?
Hide and Seek is a full length, standalone novel with no cliff-hanger, however, to get the most out of your reading experience, it is recommended that you read Vol. 1, Paper, Scissors, Rock first.

I was addicted to this book, same as the first novel in this series. However, 3/4 of the way in, i felt it all went a little tits up. If you were madly in love with a fricken rockstar that adores you, would you run away and hide so he could find you. For 2 and 1/2 months Hannah hides from Jasper. Why??? Still can’t get my head round it.
It was a well written novel, but it wasn’t for me. The first novel is awesome though. I highly recommend it - Paper, scissors, Rock!

When you have doubts after reading the first book in this series and it is a ten star read and think there is no way the author could get any better, well I will be damned Nicole S Goodin you just proved me wrong. Jasper and Hannah’s story is not only about the present and the future but it is also a reflection on their journey. This book was emotional, like off the charts hormonally emotional. One minute I was laughing then the next tears were rolling down my face. Their story was simply about love and how at times it will make you crazy, cause you to have doubts but ultimately it is showing that person that owns your heart just how far you will go for them. Hide and Seek will make your heart race, soothe your soul like a lullaby, heat you up like a hot Summers day and leave you feeling completed.
“The intention was to get him out of my system and move on with my life.”
Well that thought was 2 ½ years ago when Hannah first met Jasper in Book 1, Paper, Scissors, Rock which was Parker and Charlotte’s story. While reading that book, two characters I had wanted to know more about were Jasper and Hannah. In Paper, Scissors they got together, and I was rapt. I thought that was it. I’m even happier to get THEIR story in this book, Hide and Seek while at the same time, seeing Park and Lotte’s relationship deepen. Each book is an absolute stand a lone, but seriously, why would you not want to read from the start of the series?
Hannah Montgomery, as Charlotte’s best friend was very attracted to Jasper, Parker’s manager and best friend. Never dreaming that he’d seen her and was smitten for good, she thought it would be more of a hit it and quit it thing. Not so, for Jasper, he was all about playing the long game, and waiting patiently for Hannah to catch up.
Told in a dual POV, and in a past and present tense, we get to see the dedication of Jasper play against the extreme insecurities of Hannah where she honestly believes that one day he’ll wake up and it will be over. Meanwhile, Hannah has a mad jealous streak that frightens her, but makes Jasper more crazy for her. It’s wild and intense and he loves it, as much as he loves her. Her need to feel safe in a relationship just might be too much for Jasper, even if he would jump through endless hoops to keep her.
Nicole has a way of writing that is sexy and intense. It is also witty and attention grabbling. I read faster because I want to get more, yet I don’t want to reach the end because the story is just that good. Highly recommended read at 5 stars.
I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review. I have to say I love this book! The banter between lollipop (Jasper) and Barbie Girl (Hannah) is classic!! We were introduced to them in Paper, Scissors, Rock with Jasper as the best friends of rock star, Parker Sloan and Hannah as the best friend of Charlotte. Jasper and Hannah challenge each other and always try to one up each other on their dates. They always have fun together with Parker and Charlotte on their outings. Hannah masks her severe insecurity well but Jasper breaks down her walls and gets to see the real Hannah. Jasper and Hannah make it a game between each other and play their own version of hide and seek. Jasper falls hard for Hannah. When things get serious between Jasper and Hannah, those fears rear its ugly head making Hannah step up her half of their game. Jasper has his work cut out for him trying to prove to Hannah how far he will go to find her.
The characters were well developed and I loved how they related to each other throughout the book. It was interesting to watch their relationship develop over time. Nicole pulled off their history with each other using flashbacks which strengthens the story. This was a great read I couldn’t put down! I flew through the book and couldn’t wait to get to the end of the story!
“ You always find me,” I replied huskily. “Will you always find me?” she asked, her voice oddly vulnerable. I spun her around quickly, and gripping each side of her hips, hoisted her onto the bonnet of my BMW. “In any corner of the earth,” I answered. “I’ll always find you.”
I knew this book was going to be good but I gotta say I loved it even more then Paper, Scissors, Rock. ❤❤ The story of Jasper & Hannah better known as BG (Barbie Girl) and Lollipop.😂 Hannah is such a sassy bombshell and Jasper is just so chill but not to be taken lightly. Their chemistry and desire for each other was off the charts from the get go. This book had me wanting more. Hannah and Jasper were bound to hook up but can Hannah get out of her head and see that Jasper isn’t like all the other guys she’s been with before?... Jasper will do anything to have Hannah around even if it means being her friend when he wants to be so much more. Hannah ends up playing the ultimate game of Hide & Seek with Jasper to see how serious he is about her and just how far he will go to find her.
The tale of Lollipop and barbie, a.k.a. Jasper and Hannah. We first met them in Paper, Scissors, Rock as the best friends of rock star, Parker Sloan and his girl, Charlotte.
This story is full of hilarious chatter between Jasper and Hannah – they’re just too adorable! They keep surprising one another and seem to always be having fun. They’re the couple you want to be around, the couple you want to emulate. But underneath it all, Hannah still holds onto her insecurity that it could all be taken away from her. When things start to get serious, those fears come back to haunt her, and Jasper has to prove just how far he’d go to keep her safe.
I love how we kept being transported back to past experiences to see how things played out. It was fun getting to see how they came up with their nicknames for each other, and watching their relationship grow. I adore this series and the characters in it. It was great to have Tyler make an entrance again, and I can’t wait to see what happens with him.
All in all, a fantastic read with a super hot cover!
Oh my gosh! How is it that a novel can be so jam packed with humour, crazy, romance, action and I still want more!! I LOVED Hannah and Jasper's book. I loved how the characters drew you in, how their personalities popped and yet still surprised you at every turn. This was such an authentic read, I related so much to Hannah I felt as though I had a personal connection with her. This is the second book in the Rock Games novels and I say with an open heart that it's equally as amazing as the first. I was worried upon starting this that it'd be hard to keep my focus but that was blown out the window by chapter two! I recommend for anyone who loves swooning over broody musicians and their crazy sweet girls!
This is book 2 in the series and should be read as a duet to book one, Paper,Scissors, and Rock to get the full background of the story it should be read first. The first book told the story of two couples, focusing on Parker and Charlotte while this book is focused on Harper and Hannah. Both books are set in the same timeline so similar events happen in both books but POV is different. Harper and Hannah are two weirdos that found each other, but if course the path of true love never runs smoothly. Fun, engaging and a little astray makes this a good read with a little bittersweet thrown in.
I was so excited to read about Jasper and Hannah after reading the first book in this series. I was not disappointed. This has to be some of my favorite banter written. It was so much fun and I love the way these characters push eachother. I also loved the balance of angst and sweet and laugh out loud moments. I may love this one even more than the first book in the series, which is saying something because I thoroughly enjoyed that story. I definitely look forward to reading more and hope we get stories for more of the characters.
Jasper falls head over heals for Hannah.... ...loved reading how their relationship blossom..
Jasper is patience, persistence, and don’t know the meaning of giving up. Hannah is playful, but her insecurities can overpower her..
This book jumps from the past and present to give the whole perspective of their relationship. My heart swoon, my heart broke, but Jasper put back together again.
A rocker book, with a swoon worthy hero, that doesn’t give up on love!! A must read!! Second book in the series.
Hannah was Charlotte best friend, and she knew who Jasper was and liked what she saw. With Charlotte seeing Parker, she was seeing more of Jasper. Hannah thought it would just be some fun and that would be it, but she underestimated Jasper. Jasper knew that Hannah was insecure, but he was willing to play the game and wait her out. Hannah thinks that some of her craziness may push Jasper away, but it only makes him play the waiting game, he knows it’s a game he won’t lose, even when he has to find her.
Okay so Jasper & Hannah are in love. But I don't understand the whole hide & seek thing. Maybe I'm from a different generation but I would never do this to the man I desperately loved. Never! There are some similarities between Jasper & my husband and Hannah & me. We would never do what Hannah did to each other. That being said, Jasper is a great character. He's in right from the start. Hannah has her issues but loves deeply. I really like the first two books in this series. Onto Tyler next.
This book is amazing! Definitely Nicole’s best work!! Hannah and Jaspers banter is hilarious. Their chemistry is off the charts. I was hooked on this book and stayed up until 2am reading it.
The time jumps strengthened their development which I really appreciated.
Parker and Charlotte are in the background being hilarious as always.
Jasper and Hannah are definitely in my top 5 book couples now!
This was a great story about Jason and Hannah. These two had their start in book one, Paper, Scissors, Rock. They met at the same time as Charlotte and Parker. This can be read alone. Hannah is crazy and wild but Jason has a calming effect on her. She is really insecure and doesn't feel that she can be loved. I love the way Jason goes to the end of the earth to prove his love.
❤❤ what a great story. it isn't this super drama filled story. I loved that we got Hannah and Jasper's story. he is so sweet and patient with her. making her believe that they were just friends when they were slowly building to more, so she could catch up at her pace. the fact that she tested him and he never gave up he never stopped looking for her or loving her. they were so sweet together. loved their story.. amazing
I adored the first book in this series and had high expectations for the sequel. And it did not disappoint.
Nicole S. Goodin creates well developed characters and weaves an intriguing plot and backstory for her leading couple.
A fun, light hearted and witty romance full of fear and insecurity that only strengthened the bond between Jasper and Hannah. This is a couple you’ll be cheering for the from the first page right through to the last.
Hide and Seek was a fun read. It’s had it all. Love, passion, humor and the twists and turns of finding the happily ever after. I was somewhat ticked off with our h, for what she did to the H, it seemed childish and mean, but i guess it made sense to her character, the quirks of her psique, it certainly gave a metric ton of brownie point to the guy for being strong & constant enough to move forward.
I thoroughly enjoyed the authors writers writing style! I loved how she went back and forth between past and present so that she could weave together the love that Hannah and Jasper share!
To most what Hannah does seems selfish and would be a turn off for a reader but I assure anyone who picks up this book and reads it will not be disappointed with how it plays out! A definite must read and I can’t wait for more from this author!
Hannah and Jasper are a fabulous couple, she's the crazy to his chill... They were the perfect couple, she had her insecurities from being let down in the past but Jasper proved he was the man for her in the ultimate game of hide and seek. I devoured this book as I did the first in this series! A new author to me and I was excited to find out she was a fellow Kiwi. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next, I am off the one click her other series!!
Nicole Goodwin certainly knows how to tell a love story that is not only fresh but still has those tingly “Oh My God” moments. Jasper and Hannah’s love just oozes from the pages and the excitement and turbulence of their relationship certainly keeps the readers on edge wondering and hoping that their journey will end with that elusive happy ever after.
Great Story! Truly delightful! Love at first sight....Jasper and Hannah have a connection made in heaven. Everything is wonderful.....until she runs away.
Jasper and Hannah are amazing together. She has so many issues, but he never stops wanting her. True love is when the other person wouldn't change a thing about you. They love ALL of you, and Jasper does. I voluntarily reviewed a copy via QBDB.
I read book one and went into reading this book with high hopes and expectations that were soon dashed. The only good thing about this book was revisiting characters from the first book. Also, I can not stand Hannah. Not even a little.
Loved Paper, Scissors, Paper but Hide and Seek was by far my favorite! I just knew Jasper & Hannah would be a hit when we got to know them in book1! These two did have a down moment, but they complete each other and their love is amazing! Just another swoon worthy rockstar read!
Well oh my goodness what a great read this was. Loved both characters, the humour, the sex and the general plot. Barbie girl was a real hoot with her escapades. Highly recommend.
For reals a 20 years later epilogue. No. Just no. It’s too much. Especially when the second book in series doesn’t follow along with that so you feel like your backtracking.
Also the beginning started out really good but then it just went to mediocre.
This story was pretty good and I totally loved Jasper. Hannah was funny and a little nutty but I liked her too. It got a little crazy going from present to two years ago, to 90 days later it just got a bit confusing but the story was good and I didn’t want the book to end.
I loved this book!! after the first one i didnt know if Nicole would write a second but i am so happy she did!! lets just cross our fingers now that Tyler and Armagedon get their book ahahah
After reading Papers, Scissors, Rock, I couldn’t wait to read Jasper and Hannah’s story. Nicole did not disappoint, amazing story and totally love these two. Definitely a must read.
