Although an interesting read of the man, in his own words, this feels like it would have been better as a supplementary read to a more comprehensive biography, auto or otherwise. Being a Ruglonian myself, it was part local history as well as biography of a local hero round these parts. Also included is a selection of his songs and his stories. Not a bad wee read. Full of the famed Glesga patter.

The collected writing of Matt McGinn, autobiographical, short stories and songs. Where else are you going to get anecdotes about meeting Pete Seeger in a flat in Peel Street in Partick. A one off.
