A book full of Jane Austen quotes on subjects ranging from marriage and children to politics and financial dealings. They're not just from her books, either; the editors went into her letters and pulled some really good ones from there. Some of the quotes do repeat, sometimes in a very short time, but it's still a good look at Jane Austen for newbies-- nice short pieces to start-- and old hands-- ah yes, I remember where that quote is from!

John gave me this as a present and I love it. It has so many fun quotes and most of my favorites from Jane Austen.

Quotes from her books. Okay but not really exciting. Just read the books.
