This book was given to me by a faceter when I got my first used faceting machine. If you want to learn how to facet this book will teach you the basics and is easy to follow. There are useful diagrams for good starter cuts including excellent instructions on marquis and oval cuts. It's a great book if you're just getting started. Even once you've mastered cutting it still comes in handy for reference.
