Diese untersuchungen sind entstanden und Oktober 1894 von der Berliner philosophischen fakultät als inaugural dissertation genehmigt worden, nur ein teil von ihnen erschien als solche im druck (berlin 1894 bei H. S. Hermann). Seitdem babe ich das ganze mehrfach umgearbeitet und erweitert, leider musste ich das manuscript bisweilen auch monatelang ruhen lassen. Soweit ich konnte, versuchte ich die ungleichheiten zu beseitigen, die eine solche arbeitsweise mit sich bringt.
